Woodkrest joined the U.S.G.B.C. (United States Green Building Council) to be a part of the movement to improve our living conditions, environment, sustainability, energy consumption, material consumption, because of our awareness of the problems associated through the building industry in the United States. Our goal is to create and build cost efficiently and energy saving with responsible designs and material usage while reducing waste.

While many may think that seeking L.E.E.D. certification and going "green" is complicated, we will simplify the process with goals, strategies, cost control, and benefits so that you can make the decision that is right for you. We have a L.E.E.D. AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) on our staff that will explain all the pertinent details and steer you towards the path you desire to take for your project and future.

Woodkrest provides a free initial consultation with a Woodkrest staff member U.S.G.B.C. L.E.E.D. AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) for those interested in maximizing the green. of their project to the fullest extent. Our L.E.E.D. AP will seek information from you to determine "how green" you really want to be which can range from a few minor items to a L.E.E.D. Certified Project.

"Going Green" does not have to add exorbitant costs to the project nor does it have to dictate a particular style, materials, or applications. There is a huge scope of variables in this fast paced ever evolving field which is very exciting but can also be a bit overwhelming. We assist you by slowing down the pace and bringing logical choices, cost effective applications, building procedures, and material choices to the table, giving you a simplified forum to make your choices.
